KEY2ACT is currently hiring a Regional Sales Manager who is responsible for generating new SaaS revenue from Key2Act’s Connect software solution and growing existing revenue streams. Engage key senior level stakeholders within various companies in discussions of how Key2Act is addressing the “Smart Building” market and IoT, as it relates to our ESMS/Connect software.

Manage full lifecycle sales processes which includes identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging existing client relationships, creating and presenting sales presentations, and conducting contract negotiations.


The ideal candidate will be a hunter with direct HVAC/R or building automation industry experience.

We're looking for people who can:

  • Work closely with Key2Act’s Connect Product Specialist Team, Product Management and other groups within the organization to provide the appropriate expertise to the sales cycle.

  • Participate in market intelligence activities to ensure understanding of competition’s sales & marketing strategies and to ensure appropriate response from Key2Act.

  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline. Consistently achieve assigned Sales Goals.

  • Maintain a high volume of meaningful sales activity; including outbound calls, networking, emails, personal visits, entertainment – utilizing MS CRM for tracking and management.

  • Thrive on change while remaining highly organized and positive.

  • Skillfully deliver web-based and in-person presentations and software demos.

  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs, coordinating and organizing input from multiple sources within.

  • Work closely with other members of the Key2Act organization to ensure client satisfaction with Key2Act’s product and service solutions.

  • Represent Key2Act in company and industry sponsored events and trade shows, as required.

  • Travel 60% - 70%.

We're looking for people whose background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or similar and 2+ years’ experience in a sales role within in a SaaS software/services organization with a successful track record; preferably selling solutions in the Building Automation market, controls systems, or consulting services for IoT.

  • The ability to navigate complex sales processes and master Key2Act’s suite of products & service solutions.

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience.

  • Understanding of Commercial Buildings, Building Automation Systems (BAS), controls and sensors is required.
