Description
Key2Act is currently hiring an Inside Sales Representative who will focus on finding and qualifying prospective customers, developing profiles of those prospective customers, and communicating with them to successfully position our software solution, Key2Act – Connect. Pursue and grow early stage opportunities and drive the sales process through to an initial appointment. This position is focused on driving new sales and includes working with and supporting Regional Sales Directors.

Further, maintain relationships with existing customer base as assigned. Communicate product enhancements or new product offerings to uncover opportunities for further sales opportunities within our existing customer base.

The successful candidate will be a go-getter with career aspirations to learn the HVAC industry and Software Sales inside and out to eventually develop into a Regional Sales Manager or Account Manager.

We're looking for people who can:
  • Research prospective customers and prepare profiles.
  • Add, update, and maintain CRM records in accordance with established Key2Act policies.
  • Be able to quickly and effectively uncover and connect with decision makers.
  • Hold conversations with prospects at all levels of the organization including C-level executives, department/division leadership, service department managers, and project managers to identify their business pains and set expectations regarding pricing, functionality and fit.
  • Further qualify new sales opportunities by developing them to the point they are ready for an appointment, handing them off to the Regional Sales Director and supporting the remaining sales process as necessary.
  • Develop and provide a professional, friendly communication style with prospects, customers and company staff.
  • Set and review goals weekly. Balance work load to meet goals in the time allotted.
  • Maintain regular contact with the Regional Sales Directors for each of your territories regarding discovery calls, call campaigns, and opportunity promotions.
  • Exceed quarterly goals for proactive prospective customer contacts (phone, email, meetings, etc.)
  • Exceed quarterly goals for the number of prospective customer contacts promoted to an assigned Regional Sales Director.
  • Participate in Industry Associations and Events as assigned.

We're looking for people whose background includes:
  • At least 1 year of sales experience preferably in HVAC, construction, mechanical contracting, or software industries.
  • Must have a proven track record of success in demand generation and driving sales growth through qualified lead generation.
  • Education or experience in the HVAC industry is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is desired.

And, for people with experience in the following tools and technology:
  • Microsoft Office Applications – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • CRM Systems such as Dynamics CRM or Salesforce.
  • Web search tools.
